Severn Archers was founded in 1984 and is presently located at the Hill Centre, just off the A4104 between Upton upon Severn and Welland. The club supports Archery in all its (legal) forms, but is presently made up of mainly recurve (Olympic to you Americans We shoot Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm and Sundays 2-5. Beginners are welcome any Sunday, just turn up at 2pm and make yourself known. A target fee of £4 (£2 for juniors aged under 15 and £3 for juniors over 15) is payable for non-members. For this you get use of club equipment, and expert (usually one-to-one) tuition. After 6 sessions you will be asked either join or leave (due to insurance reasons), if you decide to stay your target fees will be offset against your membership charge - currently £65 (£45 for juniors, students and associate members), and you will be able to continue to use the club equipment until you buy your own (providing this period is not too long
